Applied information design: Here and there

Long time ago, when I was studying at University, one of my mentors told me never to leave home without a notebook + pencil in my bag. Since the digital cameras have become affordable and portable, I have added mine to that kit of essential elements in my bag (yes, I will always be a person of big bags!).

Apart from the historic beauty of a city, each place can be seen from a different side:  information design pearls can be found hidden in quite unusual places! These days I have been looking into old and not so old photos, see below just some of what I found:
